What is the name of this short story? Involves a mannequin?
This is driving me crazy because I can't remember it. The protagonist is a man who becomes obsessed with a window shop dummy, treats it like it's his girlfriend. The last image of the story is of the mannequin behind the wheel of a car. Horror/Science Fiction story that I read in a horror or SF anthology. Does anyone know what this might be?? Or where could look to find out???
This has NOTHING TO DO with the movie "Mannequin". It's a dark horror story
the name of the movie is "tourist trap" starring Chuck connors from the famed tv show "the riflemen" and tanya roberts as one of the possible victims.
