Mannequin Twilight
Mannequin Twilight
name of twilight zone episode?

i'm looking for the name of a twilight zone episode where two astronauts land on a planet where all the people just stand still? they look like mannequins. there's sound, but no one moves or speaks....

Actually, the episode previously mentioned ("People Are Alike All Over") is not the one you're referring to; in this one, the lone astronaut is placed in a martian zoo, leading him to learn that people reall are "alike all over."

The one you actually describe is called Elegy.

Dark blue - Jack's Mannequin (Twilight)

Do you believe Twilight is corruptive or beneficial for today's society especially in pop culture?

Just a question because since Twilight has emerged itself in film, and now music.

Latest entity being compared to twilight is the band Jack's Mannequin which many Twilight fans compare their songs to the Twilight series and see if it would fit in the Twilight series.

Everything that we listen to, watch, or read is going to corrupt us in some way and it's naive to believe otherwise.

Just because Twilight endorses the whole "do anything for your boyfriend" concept, it doesn't mean that it's going to make millions of teenage girls go to ridiculous lengths to be like Bella. Admittedly, some obsessed fans will take it that way which I suppose is why the series gains so many negative reviews but people tar all Twilight readers with the same brush and it isn't fair.

I'm a huge fan of the books but they won't make me think or do anything that I don't want to. In several ways, it has helped me; the fantasy that there is more to life than we think has definitely given me a more positive outlook on certain things.

As for the film franchise- it's just media. People will or will not take it too seriously and if they do, what's the problem if millions of other fans are enjoying it sensibly and rationally?

Personally, I believe that the benefits of having a series like Twilight around definitely outweigh the hazards and it isn't fair that so many Twilight-haters insist that it is the opposite just because they do not like the plot.

Hope I helped answer your question!
