Mannequin Love Theme

Who can help me with writing my song?Please...?

I wrote the music and everything...its not really slow or fast its like medium ;] Anyway,I dont like writing about Love...thats kinda stupid i think. But anyway, I wanna write the song about when Im down at the ocean and we pass these magnificent houses and how they are like my dreams. And I feel so...amazing when im around that. So the theme is kinda water. Like if anyone's heard the song 'Dark Blue" by Jack's Mannequin. The theme is like water. So yeah. I just...dont know how to start it! I dont want people to write it for me i just need to know: when u write a song how do U start it off?

Alright water,ocean,houses, dreams...I like the general idea so far!
houses could be jewlery boxes sitting on the beach...
Jewlery boxes sittin' on the sand
my dreams glimmering shingles
just out of my hand

The waves crash in
and the waves slink out
I sift through the sands of the dreams I won't doubt

My wandering mind
dreams with the tide
I don't know etc...
those are just general concepts, when you start to write a song
1)go off of experience, it helps draw inspiration from it
2)don't listen to aaannyyy music before hand, it avoids plagiarism
3)practice, it takes time
4)its alot like poetry, if you're not ready to write music to it just go by rhythm, if it flows as a poem adding music in later will be easy. don't skip to music if you're not ready
5)on the other hand...if you wish to do music first do that, and just remember that the mood of the music should fit the mood of your lyrics later

She then inspires him to become the most expressive window-dresser the business has ever seen.
