I play Oblivion for Xbox 360, and i can't find a shop that i can sell an item for over 1200 gold. where can i?
I'm trying to sell items for 5,000 and an item for 9,000 gold, but i can only sell them for 1200 gold to the stupid shops, when can i find a good shop?
Kinda stinks when you get loot that great in value.
The only thing you can possibly do to get MORE than 1200 is level your mercantile. Eventually when your an expert you can permanetly increase the barterers gold by 500 bye investing once. Then at Master ALL merchants have another 500 gold. And if you invested with one shop the 2 500's will stack. And at 100 you dont need to haggle. You atomatically get the 100/100 sale ratio.
If your into the thieves guild use Fathis Ules. He has about 1500 gold to barter. Not that much more but better than nothing.
To level your mercantile skill: You have to sell an item. You get expireince every time you make a succesful trade. Sell thing one at a time. Youll get 5 times more expirience by selling 5 onions one by one compared to the whole stack. Go the feed bag or a cheap store like that and buy all the food then sell it back or to another person. And training makes a such a difference. I recommned training in mercantilsm whenever you have the chance to. Magarte in Leyawiin is Journeyman.

how can i know that the gold item which i purchase is pure?
while purchasing gold,is that enough to see the mark on the gold item,for example 22ct.;and 916 mark? or what else should be taken care?
If you buy from a Jeweller, it's hard to tell. You either need to understand how to evaluate gold or know a trustworthy Jeweller.
Buying from Jewellers results in a lot of losses (10% or so) when you try to sell. A Jeweller will buy at a lower price and sell at a higher price. You can instead look at Gold ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds). Buying and selling these is easy and charges for the same are about 0.5% or so. These funds buy real gold and it's kept in some depository in physical form. That way you can invest with amounts as low as Rs. 1000, not worry about authenticity and still get gold market price.
