I felt everything that was said was the truth honestly. As the years went on you do not necessarily have to have talent, but you have to have that look and talk about sex. People like Mc Lyte, Queen, Moni Love came out with pure talent, they did not have to do all the other stuff. But Lil' Kim and Foxy started the image, and then ever since Miss Hill left that is all that is. As they said in the doc, no males want to sign a female that is not talking about sex or dressing sexy. I believe to be a female MC talent is not necessary anymore, I believe it is just a look and also if that female can be molded into what you want her to be. She does not have to know how to rap she just has to look good talking. People all over twitter said the other female's were dissing Nicki I do not think they were dissing they just were honest.
New age female "MCs" don't even know what rap is, and yes I'm talking about Nicki Minaj and Diamond and such.
Now hear me out, I like Nicki (she's from Brooklyn and has legit skill sometimes) but all that wig wearing and gimmicky stuff needs to stop. She makes herself out to be an idiot to sell records. And rapping about f/cking Lil Wayne? That's nothing to be proud of.
And that "Your Love" song is stupid, why can't she just rap to be rapping? She knows that's not her schtick...auto tuned love songs, we get enough of those from Drake.
I wish a legit female MC would come out, or Lyte and Rah Digga come outta retirement and shut her up.
