Designing Mannequins
where can i purchase a dressmaking mannequin?
I'm into fashion design and I'm planning on starting to make a few pieces. i want to purchase a mannequin. the ones that are for fashion design. where can i purchase one.

Try your local sewing stores or factory outlets (like Bernina, Elna, Husqvarna etc.), if they don't have them in stock ask if they could get one for you and ask them to show you some catalogues you could choose one from.
If still can not find what you want, run the search on the Internet - you will find thousands if not millions.
They can be reasonably expensive, especially the more adjustable models - I know because my wife bought one for herself.

Where could i get a mannequin hand in Ireland/UK?
Im looking for a mannequin hand, preferably left female hand. The fingers should be adjustable as it will be holding a model of a design in its hand.
Its for my Final Year Project in University and i need one before Tuesday 26th May. If anyone know of anywhere i could get one, it would be a great help. Willing to pay also.
