Design Studio Mannequins
What do YOU associate with femininity?
I'm taking some last minute photos for the AP Studio Art 2D Design portfolio I'm submitting next week. My concentration is femininity, and I'd like anyone's feedback on what things they associate with the word. The connections can be obvious or obscure - some suggestions so far: earings, old rotary phones, circles, make-up, bras, mannequins, bubbles, hair brushes, tea cups, lace. I have open mind, but please nothing obscene. Any imput is much appreciated!
If you are referring to photographs, the overall form of a woman showing the curves in all the right places in a way that is artistic and complimentary. This could include the use of make-up but not over done and is not limited to slim figures as women, like men, come in all shapes and sizes.

French music video - hiphop, dancing store mannequins? Aidez-moi svp?
I saw a music video by a French artist awhile ago. I think his name started with a D. It had a hip-hop pop feel to it.
The video is weird, I think it started with a woman walking through a trendy store/fashion design studio, and as soon as she left, all the people posing as mannequins got up and started dancing/singing as the video begins. Ends with silence and the women's heels clacking out.
This is driving me absolutely crazy. It's such a fun song. Kind of reminds me of a hiphop Backstreet Boys.
It is a female hip-hop artist, her name is Diam's. The song is called "Jeune Demoiselle," and it's about her looking for the "perfect guy."
You can see it again below. She's a great artist, very controversial in France.
