How to make the most of your Jewellery and Accessories
Has jewellery out grown the traditional Jewellery Box?
Over the past decade jewellery has become readily available at so many different kind of outlets be it specific jewellery shops, clothes shops, supermarkets and now even chemists. Us girls and men too have a selection of jewellery to match our outfits. But how often do we end up wearing the same earrings because they were on the dressing table from the day before or you have simply forgotten what you have.
I am a firm believer that a jewellery box is best for fine jewellery, but for costume jewellery the sections tend to be too small to fit chunky beads into, earrings aren't kept together and necklaces end up tangled together. A different type of jewellery storage is the way forward and there are many choices.
What to consider when deciding how to store your jewellery
There are now so many different ways to store your jewellery I have seen many innovative solutions some handmade others just an improvisation of another product.
Space: When considering what storage solution would be best for you I would first consider space. Do you have room on your dressing table or chest or draws? If you don't then a wall / door mounted option may be better for you.
Your Personality: Secondly do you like things to be discreet or would you like a piece that displays your jewellery to make a feature of it? I do not like clutter and prefer things to be tucked away so I make use of the inside of my wardrobe doors to store my earrings and necklaces. I use the Earring Angel to store my studs and earrings in fact I have two. Most of my earrings are studs and this product allows me to store them without having to remove the back.
Your Style: Your Do some research into styles and materials there are solutions in wood, metal, plastic, leather like books
Your Budget: As with most things there will be something out there to suit your budget. I have seen many innovative solutions some handmade others just an improvisation of another product.
