what to get for my stylish cousins birthday?
my cousin is totally into fashion. from her mom shes getting a sewing machine and a mannequin so she can make clothing. she likes to watch shows like americas next top model, and project runway. i dont kno what to get her! i was thinking about posters for her room that had like models on a runway or soemthing that had to do with fashion [kinda vogue-ish shots ] what site can i get posters like that? i tried allposters.com. what if i got her something that could help her make clothing? idk!! help me please! thanks =]

What do they use on project runway to make the pattern, they stick it to the mannequin..?
It looks like some sort of tape and it helps to form the pattern pieces...i suppose...
They use muslin to make the pattern I saw Catto cut a bunch of it off a bolt against the wall. And I thought to myself ;they must get to use as much as the want for free cuz you never see them buying it @ Mood.But I think a lot of time they just cut free form cuz they don't need a pattern.
I love this show. I have watched everyone of them.That tape you see is just placed on the form to indicate where a seam might be, then you hold or drape the fabric up to the form and trace where the tape is.
