Mannequin Movement
Mannequin Movement
Do you have any suggestions?

Here is a poem I've been working on, but I seem to be stuck, do you have any suggestions on where I could go next? Thank you.

In a time when
Runway models
Weigh less than
The mannequins that
Wear their clothes,
When we pay to have
Barbie’s boobs,
When shopping becomes a hobby,
We need Seneca Falls.
We need the women that built our future.
We need to grow some
Metaphorical cojones,
And breathe life into our
Dead movement.
We were second-class citizens,
Our husbands were our only rights,
Were our masters,
We got the right to vote,
Lastly,
We rejoiced in the right
Of divorce,
And we rejoice now,
In the freedom of choice.
A small victory,
Among a large war,
And no one sees
The battlefield.

*this poem is meant for spoken word

Your poem is well spoken. Very good ending. Additional thoughts might lessen the value of the message. If you have other thoughts, why not write another poem. This one is heavy enough. More would not make it better.

Jack's Mannequin Cover: First movement of 'Caves'

What strengthening agent can I apply to plastic store mannequins to stop movement?

These torsos are flimsy plastic and are hollow - I need to make them inflexible so I can mosaic them. Also, is it ok to use construction adhesive to apply tiles? (The mosaics are intended for indoor use only).

two part epoxy will be a nightmare to use, and won't give you what you want. The reality is that you have a flexible sub structure, that's not gonna change unless you cover it with a two inch layer of concrete and you are not gonna to do that. Nothing you apply to the surface will give you the rigidity you are looking for . So, what you want to do it use a flexible adhesive, instead of a rigid one, an adhesive that will flex with the mannequins and still remain affixed, prob a non-mortar based flex adhesive like for wall tile, adhesive, not mortar (or thinset, the cement based are gonna be much to rigid)

my 2 cents
