Pivot Point Mannequins
Should i buy a mannequin for practice yes or no for cosmetology school????
What do you think? I am ordering directly from Pivot Point. I am excited because i would be able to practice rolling a full set and perm rollers. I am having alot of trouble with that in school not too mention i hacked up hair on my doll at school its too short to put cone rollers in some places. This way i could practice on the weekends. I want to be really good at rolling the hair and i feel I need extra practice or i might not pass basics. Help i need the opinion of yahoo tonight!!! Thanks 
the school will not allow us to take home the mannequins and it costs only 32.00 dollars for an educational head hair and all!
thanks ur all the best i really appreciate ur answers..u should see the bad job i did on my doll at school she has a very short haircut! its horrible a disaster..i am the worst at rollers i need help!
GO FOR IT!! While I was in school, I went through 15 doll heads. I figured, if you are gonna learn how to cut the popular short styles so many girls wear now... you should CUT IT SHORT!! everyone else cut long versions...this made no sense to me. I agree what what you mean though, practicing at home is great. And like someone before me said, if you PAID tuition .. that doll head is YOURS and you should be able to take it anywhere. GOOD LUCK!!
