Can the feminist be our own worst enemy?
I'm a stay at home mom. I love being a stay at home mom. My husband and I decided together that it was important for our children to have a parent at home at least until they start kindergarten.
Yet, I have discovered that other women pass unfair judgments on stay at home moms because they don't believe we "live up to our full potential" as women.
Pardon me? Isn't being a strong, free, and independent female about making your own choices? If we feel the need to have our own career at the expense of being able to do something we really love (in my case being a stay at home mom) aren't we, yet again, conforming just to please the masses?
If you would rather work and send your kids to daycare- fine by me- but since when is it required of all women?

YES I AGREE 100% I too am a stay at home mom. I've obtained my 4 year degree, and had a career before children. Once we had our first daughter, I knew where I shoud be. It wasen't always easy, but we did it. Feminist's will only approve if your doing something a "man" should be doing such as work. Feminist IMO are mainly to blame for the downfall of parenting today.
