Alright listen, you need to stop stressing. If he is gonna ask you out that means he likes you, which means that you shouldnt have to do much talking. Make him do the talking and put forth the effort to start a conversation, that not only allows you to not show how shy you are, but also makes it seems like you are playing hard to get, which is a good thing. Just dont be nervous, because if he really does like you, he will be the nervous one and you should have no worries. The best advice i think anyone could give you is to just be yourself, and i dont want to sound like a broken record, but thats the only thing you have to do. Trust me, im a guy and if i liked a girl i would rather her be herself around me, than try to be someone she thinks i would like. Becasue sooner or later he will see who you truly are. And thats why i am saying for you to be yourself, because if he starts dating you and you are being yourself, it means he really likes you for who you are, meaning that the relationship has a better chance of working and lasting.
Oh, i almost forgot, smile a little and relax. There is nothing more attractive than a girl who smiles. And, just a tip, when he makes a joke, laugh at it, but not too much, because then he will know you are faking.
