Can I wash my silk dress? Please help!?

Okay my mom's friend is a fashion designer and I was looking at some of her cheaper dresses that she had in storage for awhile when I came along one of the most beautiful, simple dresses I have ever seen (she sent me pictures of certain dresses that fit the requirements I needed on mannequins so I can see what they would look like on me). It is mandatory that every girl wears a short white or very, very light colored yellow or pink dress to graduation, but they really said they would prefer white. The dress also has to be above the knee. Anyways, the dress I chose is Marciano dress that is 96% silk and 4% spandex and it is white. Anyways, since it has been in storage, it will need some form of fresh cleaning.

Take it to a dry cleaners, the clean and preserve wedding dresses, and some bride's dresses are silk, so go for that before doing any home remedies, let a pro do it
