Mannequin Sales
My wife wants me to model dresses for her?
My wife has known I dress as a woman but it's always, understandably been a difficult subject for her. I am 'banned' from doing anything like that in front of her but because she gives me space, and we have loads of quality time together, I am okay with that.
In the last week she has been modifying dresses by using the mannequin at her bridal shop but last week asked me to wear one of the dresses so she could do what she needed to do, e.g. match the hem length and things like that. I am confused because I thought she'd be the last person to want to see me in a dress. She was having some difficulty with a few customers but since I wore the dresses her sales have picked up and customers who were once difficult are happy now. She is superstitious so now wants me to try on all the dresses in the shop.
Should I just roll with it? I'm happy to help her if it brings in money for her, I just don't want her attacking me later for 'wearing a dress' even if it were her idea. Thank you.
You should assist her in anything she wants you to do. . . and I would imagine that wearing a bra will help the dress fit better and more closely imitate a real female wearing it. . . . and of course you want to do anything that brings in more money and maybe she will spend some of that money on undergarments for you and body shaping garments for you. . . . But, don't talk about how excited it makes you. . . . let her draw her own conclusions about the value of you dressing. . . .
Conversation while dressing can be about the lady who the dress is designed for and what accessories she will wear and all that type of stuff. . . . you will enjoy the conversation it will help her understand you better. . .
Capitalize on the opportunity and "shut up". . .

Saw this on a sales clerk, and a few days later on a mannequin, but not much outside of that. Silly trend/ fad? Are people really doing this?
It is a trend that I don't think is going anywhere. It allows us to still wear our summer clothes.
