Funny Looking Mannequins
Men and insecurities in relationships?
The guy I'm seeing had a bad relationship in the past and it didn't end well. He has been very honest and told me it would be hard to get into a serious relationship again because of the trust issues he has. Recently he's been making comments here and there, and I'm not sure what to make of it. He introduced me to his friends, and I told him that one of his friends was funny. His reaction was: "well why don't you come out more and get to know him then" in a sarcastic tone complete with crossing of the arms and looking away from me. He had mentioned a few weeks ago that he saw an outfit on a mannequin that reminded him of me, and I bought something similar after he said it. He came over my apartment and saw the outfit. He said "are you going on a hot date or something with this outfit?"
I really do care for him, but I'm not sure what to do at this point. Thoughts?
He's not ready to date yet. Spend less time with him. When he asks why, tell him his insecurities and sarcasm are a turnoff and you can only deal with so much of it. If he doesn't change his attitude after that, it's just going to be more of the same.

In the beginning I thought Dale was smokin' hot....second only to Mario...then enter Stu...that bod...
Now though, I just see them as two dumb mannequins, I'd rather look at/listen to Mikey...funny though I never tired of Mario... just goes to show, looks gradually takes a backseat to intelligence....
