Why am I, a bi guy, turned off by gay men?
I'm not assuming all gay men fit a stereotype or something like that, it's not even about their personalities. He could be a complete sports fan, have facial hair, a neighbourhood-boy looking (not like those waxed, spray tanned mannequins that are the embodiment of gay culture) guy and yet if he showed interest in me (or any man) I would immediately lose interest.
I just don't think I would be able to understand him (why he doesn't like women) and may even subconsiously look down on him in a relationship. I just want that flair that tells me he likes women, that he is a chivalrous knight and almost stupid in how puppy dog in love he is with them. I want my men completely straight so they can respect me for being an awesome (pardon my lack of modesty) person, not because they're in love with me.
Am I just chasing the impossible or does my reasoning have merit?
You are a great bi guy that doesn't understand gay people. Cause straight and gay people share the same uni direction, and you share both. You might have a hidden instruction in your head that turns you off with gay people. I believe relationships between sexual minorities are not healthy, if the partners are healthy sincere.
I think a gay doesn't deal to well with a bi in a full relationship. So does the other combinations.
I also think that your brain works correctly. It might not want to loose time on combining stuffs that doesn't fit. Don't know! I Hope you don't have problems because of this.
