Why did the European race evolve so many different eye colors and hair colors?
Why did this happen, Europeans can have Blue, Green, Brown, Gray, Hazel eyes etc. and have Black, Brown, Red, Blond hair etc. What was the reason for. These due show up in other races from time to time but its extremly rare, but they are so much more common in the European race, why is that?
Albinism and partial albinism occurs in non European populations.
There seems to be a recessive gene for red and blonde hair in Melanesia which comibned with mineral deficiences and genetic input from visiting Celts (oh those naughty sailors and missionaries!) makes a red haired Melanesian more likely than a red haired African.
For some (cultural) reason prehistoric Europeans tolerated the mutations that lead to blue eyes and pale hair more than other groups.
I suspect the first blue eyes blondes were born into an elite aristo clan who refused to have them treated as freaks and had the priest declare their special coloration was a sign of favor form the gods.
On the other hand in Ancient Egypt there was a gene for red hair that disappeared from the population because it was regarded as the mark of Seth!
I would say it is due to a combination of both genetic and cultural factors.
I suspect the association of red hair with evil spirits and demons in Asia is due to a relict population of red haired home erectus whose last survivors were the source of yeti legends.

Why do some females wear wigs or phoney hair to look european?
not being funny, but black women are always going on about how proud they are to be black - so why do they try to make their hair look like european hair?
There hair is all fuzzy and curly - but they either wear a wig to make it look like a white persons hair or they get implants of phoney hair. Dont you think its funny that the 'first lady' does not show her natural hair, but has a phoney hairdo to make her look white?
Strange dont you think?
It's an unfortunate fact that the mainstream standard of beauty in much of the western world is a white one. It reflects long-standing cultural biases and values, and also the fact that the majority of the population in countries like the US is non-black. Often, rebelling against mainstream values will hurt your reputation or introduce additional challenges to your life. This can happen subtly, so it's not like people necessarily set out thinking "if only I looked more like the white standard of beauty, then people would treat me just a little nicer, be a little more friendly or helpful or willing to make friends..." It can also be the result of greater pressure, though, when people dare to stand out by having natural hair and get rude or nosy or embarrassing comments on it day after day, which wears a person out. Being "normal" makes life that much easier to handle.
If this seems weird to you, encourage your friends to be embrace the natural beauty of black hair, but don't resort to making rude comments to women who choose to relax their hair or get weave. It's like being rude to a Muslim woman for wearing a scarf and covering up--yes, in a way, she is capitulating to sexist societal ideas about what a woman should be, but everyone makes compromises in their life that just make things go more smoothly, and it's often very uncomfortable and a struggle to go against the flow.
Try to empower people to have the freedom to make a choice about how to be on their own without being judgmental. Feel free to encourage ladies who you see with natural hair by complimenting them on it, and speak out in favor of natural hair if the topic comes up, but again, try not to put people down for making a different choice. "I think natural hair looks a lot prettier than relaxed hair" is a lot more positive than "natural hair is the best because women who relax their hair just want to be white!" and also, if you are rudely judgmental of ANY group, it just adds to the idea that you are constantly judging people based on their appearance, which makes people MORE likely to conform, even if that's not your intention.
Edit: another thing. The fact that a certain look is favored by the mainstream means that images of such so-called "perfection" are all around, and familiarity is a big influence on how much people like things and how comfortable people are with a certain look, so it's also an issue of the fact that that is just what is out there. It seems counterintuitive, because you might think that people would rather look unique and exotic than familiar and boring, but that is how the brain works.
Also, to more directly answer the question: YES, I do think that it is strange, but I wanted to explain why women feel pressured to change their hair that way...
