Wooden Mannequin Poses
Where can you get a wolf pose mannequin?
(I am talking about the animal!) I'm looking for one like the wooden human pose mannequin artists use for a reference with drawing. You can move them into different poses.
Get yourself a husky. A really well trained one. Otherwise look on eBay? I've never heard of a wolf one though.

Volks Dollfies - Neo Edition
Artists, I'm looking for a good wooden mannequin.?
I bought one at the local craft warehouse and the stupid thing won't do a lot of poses that it should and quickly one of it's arm's fell off. So now I'm trying to find a better one for using to draw people with that fits the following requirements.
1. Ir's well made.
2. It's very flexible.
3. It shouldn't be very big. Like, something for my desk.
4. It should be unisex
Does anybody know a pretty common store where you can get one? I'll take internet suggestions too, though I dislike online shopping, so if you know a actual store where they have them i'd love that.

I've actually seen some in the Dick Blick store that is very close to Fenway Stadium in Boston, MA. They call them 'manikins'. Some of the wooden ones have flexible middle sections, so they twist a little - these are called 'Flexiform' and they had plastic Art S. Buck that have more lifelike features and come in various sizes. I didn't see these both online for Dick Blick, but they do appear on Jerry's Artarama. Some other online sources to check are Cheap Joes and Art Supply Warehouse, MisterArt, and Ultrechts. At Jerry's, a size of the male and female varieties of the Art S. Buck version are on sale until 8/20 - at 16.99 for a 12 inch figure - so you might check those out - Cheap Joes has them at 14.99 until 10/31. You might check these online stores because some of them may have actual stores that are close by - I know Dick Blicks has several locations, and there are a few of Jerry's and Cheap Joes.
