What colour bedding for this makeover?
The room is for a pre-teen girl in a Victorian-styled house.
The bed, furnishings and trim are white.
The walls are lilac, like this, and won't be changed:

A deeper plum for the bed will really bring out the liliac on the walls and the more neautral rugs for a big pop in the room and some sheer purple coveringsslightly darker then the walls

I read in a book that red roses meant 'love triumphant' but what did the others mean? If anyone has any idea what any other flowers meant or have a link to a site explaining this I would love to know. Thanks very much, Jacqui.
