Leg Wood Top
best wood for buildign a custom desk?
i want to build a large custom desk to put to 2 large flat screen monitors on. what's the best type of wood for the top, desk part? I've looked at several sheets at home depot and don't know what to use. i plan on using some 2 x 4's to build the support legs. i of course know to have most of the supports in the area where the monitros will be sitting.
birch or oak plywood would look ok...get some edge banding to make it look better

My dog is having difficulty walking because he has an unstable back leg, any help?
We have wood floors and his bad leg slips under him when he walks. We also have wood steps and he has a very difficult time with them and sometimes falls. It is so sad. I am wondering if there is a contraption that will help stabilize his back leg so that he can walk better. I can tell how difficult it is for him.Any sort of help will be greatly appreciated. He had hip surgery done years ago and has not been the same. He was born without a hip socket, so the ball on top of the femur was removed.
my pup had surgery on his front paws so we put down thro rugs on our wooden floors which helped him from slipping. i'm sure they have all kinds of contraptions out there for dogs with problems you should try and google it.

I'd probably just stick to wearing a dark shirt. That should suffice, I would think.
