How would you feel about having a bald female massage therapist?
I intend to shave my head again very soon. My employer has made it clear numerous times that the chiropractic at which I work as a massage therapist is very laid-back and that any clothing/style choices are completely up to me. My clothing is professional, sometimes even more so than that of my employer, but I was wondering how you would feel if your (female) massage therapist was bald? I've had most of my current clients at least a handful of times, and most, if not all, of them seem to be comfortable and friendly with me. Though I personally feel more attractive with a bald head, I'm more than willing to wear a headscarf to work, if it will help my clients feel more at ease. So, what do you think? Should I go the headscarf route, or should I not worry about it unless a client comes to me with a complaint or shows obvious signs of disapproval?
I would not mind having a bald massage therapist. I do not think that you should have to wear a headscarf. I think that if someone is taken back by your head, they are an ignorant person doing nothing but placing stereotypes on the "right" female image.
anyways I think that you have every given right, especially in your workplace that promotes a laid back environment to have a bald head without having to hide it . . . . .

my 10 month female pit bull has bald spots due to chronic mange?
vet prescribed antibiotics and mange dip every two weeks until hair grew back.i took her three times for the dips,but the hair has not grown back.i think i'm wasting my money with the dips.anybody out there maybe has dealt with the issue advice would be great.
I don't like the dips-they can be somewhat dangerous. Ask your vet for oral Ivermectin. Much cheaper and much milder on your dog.
As far as the hair growing back? That could take months. The mites have damaged the hair folicles and you need to be prepared for a lot more hair to fall out before it starts to grow back, depending on how severe the mange is.
One of the dogs I treated in rescue took seven months to grow her hair back, but she is very beautiful now.
You should also ask your vet about some immune booster vitamins.
