hi so my dad is letting me redo my room and im stuck between two ideas. we are buying paint today and i need help tell me which you like better!!!!! ps im really girlyyy
1. jungle/safari themed-paint my walls white
get tons of pictures of animals and wall decals
zebra bedspread
zebra fainting couch/storage area(www.thejunglestore.com)
get a faux animal print rug
have are neighbor(also an artist) paint my dresser zebra

paint walls white/black stripes

I like the Safari idea best, however, I think the Zebra print could be toned down some. When it comes to prints, it's best not to go overboard with them. Personally I would get the zebra bedspread and perhaps a zebra print rug. Then for the dresser for example, paint it all white or black and accent it with black and white accessories (like for example have an all white dresser, black lamp with a zebra print shade, black containers to hold your accessories or whatever. you could even find a zebra figure/statue to sit on your dresser as well)
That way you're still using the Zebra theme by using the colors black and white, but you don't have to be so literal by using zebra print everywhere. It'll look better and will look more mature as you grow older.
Like others have mentioned, when you do themed rooms like this you have to be careful that it's not something that you will grow out of and have to totally redo in just a few years from now. So have fun with it but try not to be too wild with it. Another thing I would change is instead of getting tons of animal pictures and wall decals. Take your time, find some nice jungle or animal photographs or paintings, and have them framed nicely in black frames then hang them around your room. Skip the decals so the walls don't look overly cluttered.
Another neat thing you could do is get safari themed items to place around your room as accents. Like hang a safari hat on your wall, find some binoculars to go on a bookcase or night stand, things like that. You could even find some maps of places like South America, Africa, Asia and frame them too as if they are maps from your many safari trips (a neat tip would be to stain the maps brown with coffee or black tea to make them look old).
