Form White Shipping
My mattress is sagging in the middle. What should I do?
We bought a new King mattress (with matching box spring) recently. It is a local brand, named White Dove. When we tried the mattress in the store, it felt pretty comfortable. But the first night when we brought it home, I felt it is sagging slightly in the middle.
We contacted the salesman about the problem. He told us that if we returned the mattress to the store then they couldn’t sell it to anyone else and therefore had to donate it to charity. As a result, we have to pay expensive restocking fee and shipping expense. I would really appreciate any suggestions on we should do. Is there any way that we can “salvage” the mattress, for example, putting a memory form on top of it? Or shall we try to get used to it? The salesman mentioned that a lot of people don’t like their new mattresses in the first month or so, because they need time to adjust to the new feeling. But it has been more than a month now and I still can’t say I like the mattress enough. Thanks so much!
the same thing happened to me u can put a thin piece of board about 5wx2tall.. and also depending on how bad it slants u can try out some other boards that might work for ur problem..but put it in the middle and it will make the middle go up i hope this helps! it worked for me
it could also be the box spring too-- if this doesnt work(above) get a big piece of plywood the same size as ur box spring and stick in under ur mattress and if there isnt any support in the middle of the bed frame it could bow like that so get a piece of board and make a slat in ur frame under ur bed it might help also- u could also try to make it a lil bit higher and that could help solve the bowing in the mattress
