Reuters Health: New Alliance Material med Terra Green tea could fight leukemia cure
Do Terra Alliance med was: A chemical found in green tea may reduce the lymph nodes and reduce the number of leukocytes in patients with lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) A new study in the Journal of Clinical Oncology shows.
Terra Alliance Med New: There is no cure for CLL, and about half of patients with the disease have a fatal accident, aggressive, Tait D. Shanafelt, Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., and colleagues explain in the report. At present, there is no treatment that can prevent the early stages of CLL progresses.
Then the researchers reported promising results using the green tea component epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) to treat cancerous cells in the laboratory, and Shanafelt colleagues noted that some patients with CLL has begun to take products that contain tea polyphenols on their own - and have shown response.
In this study, researchers tested Polyphenon E capsules, which contain about 200 mg of EGCG, in 33 patients CLL early and show no symptoms. They tested doses between 400-2000 mg twice a day.
Even higher doses, side effects are rare, the researchers found.
Fifteen patients showed a 20 percent or more reduction in the number of white blood cells, which lasted at least two months in 11 patients.
Twelve patients had swollen glands when they enrolled in the study, and 11 of them had a reduction of at least 50 percent in the lymph nodes swollen.
The higher dose seems to be more effective 16 (76 percent) of 21 Patients taking 1200-2000 milligrams of EGCG, which shows a biological response against two (17 percent) of 12 patients taking 400-1000 milligrams.
The results suggest that EGCG giving early stage CLL patients might help to stabilize the disease, and to tell their colleagues Shanafelt. They conduct another study with 2000 mg EGCG twice daily in patients with early stage CLL. Source: Journal of Clinical Oncology

I had to sign a form of medication for chronic pain, but I have another serious problem. No. Will I get into trouble?
I would think about the Harvard extension school which has a pre med program that can be done as part of doing your undergrad there:
The Harvard extension school is open admssion so anyone can get in. It is a very well kept secret but those that go there rave about how good the education is. And Harvard by reputation has a very high admission rate to medical school.
