How do I code a button to display text in a label when pushed?

I have 4 push buttons adjacend to lables. I want to code the buttons, so that when pressed, a name will appear;but each time I press the button, the name appears at the top of the form. I have not placed any labels at the top of my form so what am I doing wrong; ot what is the correct code?
For instance when I press the button that says "Shipping", I want the adjacent label to display "Ken Jones".
Needless to say, I am very new at this.

i think u written the code directly. u have to write the code on Button_Click event.

double click the button then it will go to code window now write the fallowing code:

label1.text= "Ken Jones";

here label1 is the id of the label control. write this code in button click event. make sure the label text is empty in design mode. here u assume the button text as Shipping.....
