Dress Fitting Mannequins
What is the best method for making a fitting mannequin?
I want to make a fitting mannequin so she can start to learn to make dresses. I have read up on various methods such as paper mache and duct tape methods. I am curious if anyone has ever made a fitting mannequin and what you would offer as the best advice in making one. Here were the sites that I referenced

I did the duct tape one. It came out pretty good. You have to make sure the person has 2 hours and lots of tape, and they can't be timid about how tight they wrap you.

Are The Costumes From The Restaurant Planet Hollywood Real?
I mean, were they the ones used in the movies or just replicas. Because if they're real, then a lot of actresses fit into such tiny dresses. I thought I was thin until I saw the dresses with the tiny waists that I could never fit in. Are they just sewn smaller to fit the mannequins? Or is everyone really that skinny? Please help.
